The Wisdom of Perseverance

It's so important to stand strong in difficult or radical times. We're living in radical times, and while we hope things get better, wisdom demands we are realistic in our view of the future. It may get worse. Today we look at God's wisdom on how to remain strong when trouble presses in from every side.

Also, yesterday was our first attempt at livestreaming our service. It worked well on facebook, but had glitches on youtube. So here is the full service in a stable presentation:  Click here to watch the service.

And yet, words chosen wisely can bring encouragement, strength and healing. How can we use wisdom in choosing the words we say and the words we listen to? Listen to this week's message to gain some insight.

Church at Home - July 19

Is the Bible relevant to our lives today? After all, it was written thousands of years ago. Join us as we take a look at Psalm 91, written 3000 years ago, telling us what God has to say about dealing with the challenges of life, including deadly disease and opposition from other people. Sneak preview - God promises to care for his people, regardless of the challenges life brings.

Today we join Dave and Julie and a special guest at Pathway Church in Coeur d'Alene Idaho.

Pastor Dave will encourage us with a look at the 23rd Psalm. You know this passage: "the Lord is my shepherd..."

These ancient words take on new power as we view them in light of everything going on in the world today. Also, Julie (and the surprise guest) will lead us in worship.
