The last message in our series on King David

The consequences of David's  adultery with Bathsheba and the subsequent murder of her husband Uriah hit full-force.  But even though David must feel like God has abandoned him, he does not abandon God - his faith stays strong, and in the end, God saevs David from the throne-seeking actions of his own son.

Join us as we see God show his love and faithfulness to a king, lost in his own mistakes.

Also, we give an update on our plans for reopening.

Because of his own actions, a sword cuts deeply into David's family.

One mistake can lead to consequences we could never imagine.  This is clearly illustrated in the events that lead to the saddest chapters in King David's life.

While God forgave David for his sin, the consequences of his actions were devastating.

As we see David's family life spiral out of control, we can learn how to protect our own.

King David's journey to the throne.

(Had to struggle through some issues, but the service is uploading now and will be available at 4 pm.)

Join us as we look at the path that led David to the throne of Israel, and the character he developed along the way; qualities that made him "a man after God's own heart."

A review of the first 3 parts of our series on King David, Israel's greatest king.

Church at Home - May 3rd, 2020

David - the Bible calls him a man after God's own heart.  Yet David made some serious mistakes in his life.  How can a man with serious flaws be called a man after God's own heart.  Listen in to the service as we sing some songs of praise, celebrate the Lord's Supper, and dig into some details of David's life.

Fear That Makes Sense

Fear That Makes Sense

Fear can be a very destructive force.  Generally, the fear we experience comes from a lack of trust in God.  When the disciples were afraid, Jesus asked, "Where is your faith?"

But not all fear is wrong.  In fact, God has told us that we should fear Him.  But what does that mean?  Why should we fear a loving God?

There are two very good reasons that make perfect sense when we stop to consider who God really is.

Overcoming Fear

All of us struggle with fear from time to time, but as Christians, we don't have to live in fear, because we can choose to live in faith.

This is especially important in light of the Corona Virus situation.  We can all use a reminder of something far greater than the virus - God's  promise to us.

A celebration of what God accomplished at the Wonderful Cross

The events of this world are not random.  God is at work, right in the middle of the chaos of our existence.  The death of Christ on the cross was an essential part of God's plan to restore this broken world to what it was intended to be.

Watch the service here, and join us as we celebrate the Lord's Supper.

Palm Sunday -

Two crowds, one joyful, one condemning

Two disciples, faced with an odd task.

One man, facing death without backing down.

One city, with peace out of reach.

If you were there, how would you react?

In this service we also celebrate the Lord's Supper.
