Part 6 - Transformation

Today we come to the close of this series by asking, "So What?" So what if the Bible is accurate, so what if it's been not been corrupted through the ages, so what if we interpret it properly? What does that mean to me?

Well, it means there is hope. It means God has promised new life to his people. It means he has promised a day when death, pain, and suffering will no longer exist. It means we don't have to try to live by religious rules. We can live by faith.

Part 5 - Interpretation

So if the Bible is accurate, meaning we have the right books, the books are from God, they have not been corrupted, and the translations are trustworthy, why are there so many disagreements about what it actually says?

Join us as we look into the super-important topic of interpretation.

Part 4 - Translation

OK, so even if the words of the Bible are trustworthy, it was written in a different language. How do we know if the translators got it right? And why are there so many different versions? How do I know which one to use?

How is it possible that it has not been corrupted over the centuries?

Palm Sunday.

It's deep in the history of the Christian Church, but why?  Why would Jesus enter Jerusalem on a donkey?  Why were the crowds so excited that day, only to call for his execution a week later?  What was so significant that prophets throughout Israel's history predicted this event?

Join us as Nick Conway digs into the details.

Scriptures: Luke 18:35-43:35

"Have Mercy on me!"

On his way to Jerusalem, Jesus passes a blind man who calls out for mercy.  Others tell him to be quiet, but he shouts even louder.  Jesus hears him and asks "What do you want?"  And the world changes.

This is a story with layers of meaning, including a very important point related to current events and ideas in our nation.
